The Cincinnati Bengals, who have been virtually silent this offseason in terms of roster moves, have reportedly re-signed speedy return man Brandon Tate according to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports.

The speedy 26-year old return specialist from the University of North Carolina has spent a majority of his three seasons in Cincinnati on special teams.  He returned 36 punts for 336 yards (9.3 yards per return) as well as 35 kickoffs for 914 yards (26.1 yards per return).

As a receiver, Tate has been less than average catching just 14 passes for 217 yards and a single touchdown in his three years.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed but look for Tate to continue to be the return specialist for at least the next year in Cincinnati
