Tight End Donald Lee will be returning to the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced today. Lee, who was an unrestricted free agent, returns for his second season with the team.

Lee came over from the Green Bay Packers via free agency last season. He was brought in for his veteran presence once Bo Scaife was lost for the season. Together with rookie Colin Cochart and starter Jermaine Gresham, the Bengals' tight ends were among the league's best in 2011.

Lee didn't get in the end zone, but provided invaluable leadership for the young Gresham and Cochart. He made several key catches during his time on the field as well.  Against Tennessee, he caught two big passes netting 47 yards on an eventual touchdown drive that jump started the Bengals' offense.

No word as of yet as to the terms of the deal.
