The NFL released the preseason schedules for the 2012 season this afternoon. For the Cincinnati Bengals, looking to build on their playoff run from 2011, they'll get a visit from Tim Tebow and the New York Jets as well as some national exposure on FOX.
The opening week of the preseason (August 9-13) will feature a matchup with the New York Jets. With the first week of the preseason typically featuring only cameo appearances from starters, Bengals fans should get a good dose of Tim Tebow running the Jets' offense.
In week two the Bengals will travel to Atlanta for a Thursday night game to be broadcast nationally on FOX. That game will feature the Bengals' AJ Green matching his acrobatic receiving skills against the Falcons duo of Roddy White and Julio Jones.
Week three of the preseason generally features the most playing time for the starters. Bengals fans at Paul Brown Stadium won't be disappointed as they'll get at least a half of football matching Andy Dalton against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
For the final week of the preseason, the Bengals and Indianapolis Colts resume their customary "I-74" series which always closes out exhibitions. Will Andrew Luck be the Colts' new starter? Will he play extensively as the Colts try to prepare him for the regular season?
