Head coach Marvin Lewis arrived today in Georgetown for his team record ninth training camp. His arrival also saw some players departing as the Bengals made several roster moves on Friday.

DE Antwan Odom and CB Morgan Trent were both released Friday. Odom signed a free agent deal with the Bengals to come here from Tennessee in 2009 but couldn't stay healthy. Morgan Trent served as the team's nickel package corner last season and was poised to compete for a starting position with the departure of Johnathan Joseph, but reportedly failed his physical. Trent's departure leaves an already thin secondary severely undermanned on the eve of the first practice. Adam Jones was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list recovering from neck surgery and can be activated as soon as he is ready.

Also on the PUP list are DT Pat Sims and LB Keith Rivers. Rivers is expected to be out throughout the preseason recovering from a wrist injury. The team also signed fourth round pick Clint Boling (OL Georgia) and seventh round pick Jay Finley (RB Baylor).

Still unsigned are draft picks Andy Dalton (QB TCU), Dontay Moch (LB Nevada) and Robert Sands (S West Virginia). Marvin Lewis said that he expects all three to be signed in time to participate in tomorrow's first practice.
