Mike Lombardi of the NFL Network is reporting that preparations are underway for a conference call between the NFLPA and players scheduled for this evening. This would appear to be a precursor to a vote on an agreement which would end the NFL lockout.
NFL owners are meeting today in Atlanta and it is believed that they have already reached a consensus to ratify a new agreement. If the players follow suit via the conference call this evening, the five-month long labor conflict could be over without any loss of training camp time or games. More on this story as it develops here at Bengals 101.
