As if on cue, Hamilton County Commissioners, no doubt stinging from the bad press from yesterday's Wall Street Journal piece, declined to vote on the Bengals request for a $300,000 upgrade to their scoreboard replay system. If yesterday's article was hard on Mike Brown, it was doubly so for county officials who were accurately portrayed as enablers to the fleecing of the taxpayers.
In what may be the understatement of the year, Jeff Capell, who is assisting the county with a ticket tax initiative, opined, "Hamilton County has far more pressing needs."
